hi chi! dont apologize for asking oi, im the same, i only learned about tea cosy's when i lived here..theyre to keep your teapot warm while its brewing..so while nag brew imong tsa-a on a pot, you cover it up with a cosy,hehehe..cute kaayo. i think i own 2 lovely ones. one from british home stores, and one from Cath Kidston..i love my tea set,hahaha..murag bata=)

you can do that too..but mainly to keep it warm..
that was a unique tea cosy as it has asian pattern on it=) we didnt buy it though=)
