When my sister was three (running four) years old, i took her to her first movie experience inside the cinema. I took her to watch the Lion King.
I was in college that time, and most of the time, alot of the functions i did in college that i was allowed to take her along, i took her with me(puppet shows for one of our OT creative subjects, and intramural events where outsiders and non students could visit the college). I was feeling the independence of being "big sis" as that time, being in college meant, i was allowed to take her with me and i was also able to spoil her a bit that time as i was starting to earn money from radio.
So taking her to her first movie experience was very memorable because i remember it with fondness. She cried in the cinema when Mufasa died. I did too. And we watched it again with her brothers.
Guess what, 19 years on, we did the same thing. We both cried when Mustafa died. and more.

This is not Ana's first Westend theatre experience as we took her to Dirty Dancing last year, but i cant help being sentimental about it. We were transported to the years where we knew when we go home there was the entire family waiting for us to hear the stories of from the movie.
This time it was only one person to go home to. A big burly man with the gentlest loving eyes, who welcomed us with a big hug from a day of adventure.

We went home hungry considering we had a big meal prior the show. (we had a big 3 course lunch at the Soho hotel and a 2 course big Pasta evening meal in the italian near the cinema). So we rang Adrian and asked what else is open at 12 midnight around our area, he said, the only thing open was the 24- hour McDonalds near M25.
We didn't care how far it was, and how late. We were hungry.
We arrived home with bags of stories of lions, childhood movies, cab rides, and chicken burger and heaps of fries.
