a weekend of hair, penny and pub

meet my hairdresser Nicole..she's a magician. she made my hair look nice on friday
i had it coloured (for the greys) and trimmed

meet my moccasins..presently a favourite sole-bed.
perfect for spring;-)

went to my friend Penny's house for a catch up.
she cooked pasta for us..

Penny making a face.(hehe)

after food, she taught us how she did the coving for her place. (she's a DIY genius). she decorated her place.

Tash,looking 'busog'..

today (Saturday).

because i left the camera which took the above photos at penny's house. i had to meet her again today.
adrian came with me to pick up the camera.

after adrian had a little chitchat with Rick and Penn, we stopped at a nearby pub from penny's home for lunch..

we ate before we went grocery shopping.

we enjoyed the country feel of the pub (Harvester pubs are gastro-pubs for low-medium priced food ,and are all around the country, but this one was unique on top of a hill, just near Penn's home)...stayed and drank our cold drinks outdoors, but decided to stay indoors for lunch as it was beginning to be too hot.

The whole pub was filled with families who are celebrating mother's day with their mums. (mothering sunday is always halfway thru lent celebrated here in the UK.)

there was a salad buffet..i hoarded on pasta shell salad, and pineapple..while adrian hoarded on coleslaw and bread.

a gammon steak (paired by a cold pint of guinness) for A

spit roast (lemon and herb sauce) and wild rice for me..(paired with a cold unlimited diet pepsi, yessss , on a hot day!)

i hope your weekend was/is great. ;-)

Oh what a delicious weekend! Mine is spent getting to know the newest member of the family =)

Friends brought food, yesterday it was pork sinigang and tonight we'll have bulgogi from a Korean neighbor.

Weather was so nice yesterday, today is the total opposite -- thunderstorm and probably snow tonight! Like night and day, that's Colorado for you!

Hi Patricia, i tend to not skimp on my hair because you know, i only have a few of them,haha..i skimp on alot of things, but my hair, i do not try to do it myself, kay knowing me, id end up with allergies (like i was in cebu at a certain salon), and id end up super bald head na gyud,hahaha..i wish i wasnt too sensitive to certain chemicals..

I will take you to a proper one Patricia..i PROMISE YOU THAT..a better one than this..you deserve a posher one..this one was a mediocre one;-) id choose a better pub for you..;-) a proper english one (with history):-)
