an unplanned spur of the moment saturday. enjoying a great sunny day. to make the most of what we were given, because tomorrow may not be ours.

forgot his sunglases.. it was sunny yet still cold, beautiful in other words;-)
southbank for lunch
decided on dimsum..pingpong;-)
prawns on toast
shrimp and crab siomai
table for two
prawn dumplings and mixed vegetable spring roll
adrian's duck roll and hoisin sauce and my char sui bun (siopao)
the saturday market at southbank
cheese and wine stall
some stalls were french
the sun invites all residents of england to come out and play
the market is just by the festival hall
we bought carrot cake and brownies for sunday's tea time (which reminded me, where did we put it?)

went to church..

went to have coffee and cakes at Fego
waiting for his coffee.he had a flapjack with his latte while i had belgian brownies;-)
we read the days papers. it was nice, the coffee shop was very relaxed and didnt mind us overstaying and outlasted our coffee.

we walked around a bit..then by 7:45pm we decided to have dinner.

italian. adrian fancied something meaty. while i wanted pasta;-)
my starters..squid in tomato sauce (and beans)
adrian's meatballs in ragu
my mussels and clams linguini
adrian's veal chops. on top of rosemary potatoes
lovely quaint italian resto.

my saturday was full.
had a good phone conversation with the family in the morning,and left for the city by lunch time.
we came home by evening and had green tea while watching an old DVD.
i said my thanks in prayers for weekends that start beautifully like this.

on the other hand, looking at these pics with people strolling makes my belly hurt LOL! i couldn't imagine being up on my feet these days.

Chel--you really have a good eye. Wait, I take that back--you have a "great" eye! Who would think that lime in a glass of iced tea or coke would look that great?! Your food and other photos are AMAZING!!! Naglaway ko sa Dimsum.

hi Patricia, i use a big aperture lens..your 1.8 is a big one it should capture alot of light in your photos..and in photoshop, i just correct the LEVELs and i fiddle with the darkness to brightness ratio ;-) try it;-)

The dimsum (all kinds of dimsum) is always photogenic because the brain tells us that its yummy,haha..thanks,Liz;-)
