olympic 2012 countdown

after doing some library work at uni yesterday, i had to rush to the city to get to the bank.

and because it was rush hour by the time i finished, Adrian rang me to tell me there's no use me getting back in the thick of rush hour, might as well take my time in the city and do some browsing and come home after all the pushing and shoving in traffic and in the train.

i felt so lonely yesterday. not so, because i was on my own. my friends and i were starting to say goodbye to one another for uni. maybe because we know the last few days are nearing us. i felt emotional about it,which set the tone of my day.

i walked around trafalgar and decided to kill my time there.

the Olympic watch countdown was just unveiled Monday night yet by midday Tuesday it hit a glitch. the countdown readings were going crazy.

the gorgeous edifice that is The National Gallery

the London olympic logo

abuzz with tourists

the trafalgar fountains..they bring calmness to the busyness of the place..

i stopped by the National Portrait Gallery to visit..what a way to kill time but to visit my favourite exhibition place.

Mary McCartney's photographs were on show at the bookshop gallery..i was in luck!

after having been in the gallery a long time, it was dark when i came out.. and this was what greeted me back at trafalgar. still a wrong countdown.

it wasnt 533 days left. it was around 500 days.

then when BBC people came in to report the catastrophe. a few minutes after that, things changed.

alas, 500 days.

and yes, Omega sorted the problem.
