late afternoon, i gave Adrian a pedicure. That was my valentine present for him. (and of course the special effort for the dinner).
his toenails surely did need some pampering, and some foot massage..and the dinner was something we decided to have this year.

the scene was set.
music was on
food was devoured..chicken breast passata with basil
dessert for two on the night
the souffle has risen.. ( pre-prepared chocolate souffle from the patisierre, but had to oven cook it for a few minutes)
..and DVDs ready... (but not without some dancing to Al Green's "How can you mend a broken heart?")
First DVD...I saw this a long time ago when i was still in Cebu. Then read the book (Isabel Allende's). Then saw this again this time with Adrian. Its amazing how we quickly forget some parts of the whole (i kept saying..'i dont remember that part').
Cairo Time...lovely. Summer fling, for the menopausal woman, haha. But kidding aside, it was beautiful in its understatedness. No overacting. No loud scenes. Just subtleties. And you feel more.
chocolates while watching romantic scenes
please feel free to partake.

i wonder what next year's valentine celebration would be?
