Eve's birthday weekend (Post 3)

The next day (Saturday), we felt sluggish and lazy. The weather didnt help. It was overcast and wet. The cottage was warm and cozy. Our beds were inviting us to snuggle under the duvet.

But we opted not to be tempted. How often does one get to do weekend get-aways with girlfriends in a nice quaint town? Not often.

The group did a majority vote of walking out our breakfast in the nearby town, a walk to the seaside and enjoy the shops. The plan was to stay for at least three hours.

We did.

Girls, being girls, we went through from shop to shop and enjoyed the town.

Poor Ross, he asked to stay in one of the pubs and just be called once we finished girly-shopping (a typical bloke.lol).

After the shopping (i promised not to join in spending money, but i was tempted. I gave in to pasalubong for Adrian : a fresh organic red jam from the farmer's market, a clothbag from the cancer Research charity shop, and from a quaint boutique i bought a make-up bag and pair of funky colourful flipflops) and exhausting our mini budgets we ended up by the seaside and went to the most famous seafood market.

It was beginning to get really cold, so we trekked back to the pub where Ross was waiting for his 'women'.

After that, we headed back to our cozy lovely home for the weekend.

cold, grey, and vast..but beautiful in reality...

Why dont i have pictures after lunch?

Because we all fell asleep.

We needed to rejuvenate, to get energy for the night party: a promise to dance and enjoy the night..

We ordered chinese take-away for the night.

people look rereshed and more upbeat for the evening party...Yeah, we dressed up too.
